Frenchies overheat faster than they drink

A short muzzle makes panting less efficient, so your French Bulldog loses water quickly on a warm day and needs a full bowl waiting whenever they get thirsty. A valve in the neck holds the water back until the level drops, then lets exactly enough through to top the bowl up and seals again. Your dog gets a full bowl at nine in the morning and a full bowl at six in the evening without you doing a thing in between.

A shape that works with a flat face

Deep, narrow bowls are awkward for a brachycephalic dog: the nose hits the bottom before the tongue does, and the whole face ends up wet. This one is wide and shallow with an open drinking area, so your pup can reach the water without burying their muzzle, and there is nothing to press against their nostrils while they drink.

It stays where you put it

The base has a hidden compartment you can fill with anything heavy, coins, sand, a couple of stones, which drops the center of gravity and makes it very hard to tip. Frenchies push bowls around, dig at them and occasionally stand in them. This one absorbs all that without redecorating your kitchen floor.

Actually cleanable

The bowl comes apart into three pieces: the ear-shaped cover, the water layer and the base. That means no slimy hidden corner where the bottle meets the bowl, which is exactly where bacteria collect in cheaper dispensers. Rinse it every couple of days, run it under hot water once a week, and the water tastes like water.
